In an effort to resolve longstanding disputes between villagers and the industrial department regarding the land acquisition in Bulandshahr's Chola industrial sector, MLA Sikandarabad Lakshmiraaj Singh convened with farmers at Lucknow's Pickup Building alongside Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Manoj Kumar Singh. The meeting aimed to find comprehensive solutions to longstanding land acquisition issues in around a dozen villages. Assurances were made to expedite the resolution process.
This crucial meeting was attended by legislator Lakshmiraaj Singh, the farmers involved, Bikapur MLA Amit Singh Chauhan, and through video conferencing, the District Magistrate of Bulandshahr, CP Singh, as well as MD UPSIDC Mayur Maheshwari and RM joined in. Participants were given assurances that the matters would be resolved swiftly.
Meeting on Chola Industrial Area's Land Acquisition Case
According to sources, the land acquisition issue in the Bulandshahr Sikandarabad constituency's Chola industrial sector has been a controversial issue for the past 20 years. Farmers from dozens of villages have previously protested against the acquisition and even approached the High Court, but the situation has largely remained unchanged.
Meeting Held to Comprehensive Discussion on Resolving Disputes
This time, local MLA Lakshmiraaj Singh rallied the farmers and initiated a detailed meeting with Additional Chief Secretary of Industrial Affairs, Manoj Kumar Singh to expedite the resolution of their problems. The meeting also saw the engagement of representatives like MP Suresh Chandra Sharma, head of the Farmer's Organization Ravindra Pradhan, Om Prakash Sharma, Principal Adal Singh, and many other affected farmers.
