Chaos erupted in a house in Kota when a cobra was found inside a washing machine. The homeowner, Shambudayal, stated that upon opening the washing machine lid to do laundry, he saw a cobra with its hood spread. He immediately informed the snake catcher team. Snake catcher Govind Sharma arrived at the scene and rescued the 5-foot-long cobra, releasing it into the Ladpura forest.
Shambudayal, who runs a dry-cleaning business in the city, narrated his experience of opening the washing machine to find the black cobra inside. The sight of the snake left his entire family in shock. According to Govind Sharma, the cobra was 5.5 feet long. Forest department officials warned that snakes are coming out of their burrows due to the rainy season and advised people to stay alert.
Poisonous Cobra Found Inside Washing Machine
Snake catcher Govind Sharma mentioned that snakes often venture into populated areas during the rainy season in search of prey. Notably, a few days ago, a cobra's presence at Kota MBS Hospital caused panic. Recently, a man was traveling by bike, unbeknownst the snake had made a home in it. Govind Sharma also recounted a similar incident when an 8-foot-long Indian rock python was found on the roof of a house in Ashok Colony.
Cobra Rescued and Released Into Ladpura Forest
Govind Sharma explained that the snake had hidden near the bike’s engine and fuel tank. When he attempted the rescue, the snake moved to the bike's headlight. After strenuous efforts, the snake was safely rescued and released into the forest.
