The premises of KGMU in Lucknow witnessed a significant uproar with the arrival of Women Commission's Vice President Aparna Yadav and BJP workers. Yadav has accused the Vice-Chancellor Sonia Nityanand and the investigative committees of sheltering the conversion accused Rameez Malik. Rameez has been on the run for the past 18 days, and the police probe has uncovered suspicious funding and links to the banned organization PFI. Aparna Yadav has brought the issue to the attention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and the Vice-Chancellor has filed a complaint about the chaos in the campus while also meeting the Chief Minister.
Clash Between Aparna Yadav and the Vice-Chancellor
Aparna Yadav, the Vice President of the Women's Commission, claims the KGMU administration and the Vishakha Committee are protecting professors assisting Rameez Malik instead of conducting an impartial investigation. She asserted that religious events were occurring near the VC Office.
When a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor didn't materialize, disorder ensued on campus, prompting the VC to file a police complaint. Now, KGMU’s doctors are uniting and have threatened to halt services unless an FIR is filed within 24 hours.
Fugitive's PFI Link and Crores in Funding
Sensational revelations have emerged from the police investigation concerning fugitive Rameez Malik. During his 18-day escape, he maintained contact with several doctors and amassed substantial funds for his evasion and expensive legal representation. This funding is linked to the banned organization PFI and associates of Dr. Shaheen. Money has also flowed into the accused's account from abroad. Currently, the police are searching for his aides hiding across several districts in Delhi, Uttarakhand, and UP.
