Furious Protests in Kathmandu Against Pahalgam Terror Attack; Calls for Pakistani Embassy Closure

The death of a young Nepali in the Pahalgam terror attack stirred intense outrage in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital. Dozens gathered outside the Pakistani embassy, vehemently protesting against Pakistan, demanding the embassy's shutdown.

After the tragic loss of a young Nepali in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, a wave of anger surged through Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, leading to a massive demonstration this Saturday outside the Pakistani embassy. Protesters voiced strong slogans against Pakistan, calling for the closure of the embassy.

Youth chanted slogans such as 'Down with Pakistan,' holding images of the Pakistan Army chief, blaming him for the terrorist attack. They accused Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism, resulting in the death of an innocent Nepali youth. They urged the Nepalese government to take action by shutting down the Pakistani embassy here.

Protesters demanded that the Nepal government reevaluate its diplomatic ties with Pakistan and shut the Pakistani embassy in Kathmandu. They argued that unless Pakistan stops promoting terrorism from its soil, such attacks will continue, claiming the lives of innocent civilians.

Notably, a few days ago, 26 tourists were shot dead in the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, including one Nepali citizen. This brutal act has sparked outrage in Nepal. Today's protest was peaceful, but the anger of the youth was palpable.
