According to sources, Vijay's party, 'Thamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam' (TVK), meticulously arranged this meet-up with the families of the victims at a resort in Mahabalipuram.
50 Rooms Reserved at a Resort
It is reported that the party has reserved approximately 50 rooms to allow Vijay to personally meet all grieving families and offer them solace. Special buses were also organized for the victims' families to reach Mahabalipuram smoothly. Media and party workers were not permitted at this event.
'Transport Arranged for Us'
A family member from Karur stated, 'Transport has been arranged so we can reach the event site. Many of us are attending.'
41 Lives Lost in Stampede
On September 27, chaos erupted at a rally led by TVK's leader, resulting in a tragic stampede. This catastrophe led to the deaths of 41 individuals, while over 60 others sustained injuries. Most victims were ordinary citizens attending Vijay's rally. Following the incident, a thorough investigation was initiated by the administration.
