In Bagalkot, Karnataka, a young student's life hangs in the balance after threats of expulsion from her schoolteacher. Suspecting the girl of stealing Rs. 2,000 from her purse, the teacher levied a grave accusation.

This incident occurred at the Kadampura Government High School, where teachers Jayashree Mishri Koti and headmaster K.H. Mujawar are accused of threatening the girl with a transfer certificate.

Distressed by the situation, the 14-year-old girl from the eighth grade tragically took her own life. Her parents filed a complaint against the school’s teacher and headmaster, claiming their conduct led to their daughter's desperate measure.

The parents stated they were unaware of the incident until their other daughter informed them after the funeral. The event took place on March 15th, and the student was found deceased the next day. Authorities have registered a case and begun their investigation.

Police sources mention that after being reprimanded by the teacher and headmaster for the alleged theft, the girl returned the Rs. 2,000. Her sister had informed the parents, who then scolded her as well. On March 16th, when no one was at home, overwhelmed by the situation, she regretfully ended her life.
