A startling case has emerged from Kanpur involving a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). During the local Ramleela event, Amitesh Shukla was apprehended by the police on charges of throwing money at dancers and brandishing a pistol to threaten organizers who objected to his behavior. A 52-second video of this incident rapidly circulated on social media, prompting swift police action.
This incident took place in Sachendi. In the village of Bhonti, where the Ramleela program was being conducted, Amitesh Shukla, associated with the BJP youth wing, attended the event. Allegations claim he openly scattered currency notes on performers and dancers on stage. A video capturing this was also widespread online.
When the members of the Ramleela committee and the event organizers opposed his actions, Shukla became enraged. As things escalated, he withdrew a pistol from his waist and placed it against a committee member’s abdomen.
The viral video clearly shows the accused threatening and shouting, "I will shoot instantly; no one will save you."

Viral Video Leads to Arrest of Accused
After the video rapidly went viral on social media, the police administration swiftly took notice. ADC Kapil Dev informed that a case was registered against the accused.
The police quickly apprehended the accused, Amitesh Shukla, along with the pistol. According to the police, Shukla is being interrogated, and further legal actions are being processed. Images of Amitesh Shukla with BJP MLA Mahesh Trivedi have also surfaced.
