These individuals were traveling from Mecca to Medina. Having completed Umrah, they dreamt of returning home, sharing gifts chosen by the children for their grandparents. However, the moment the bus collided with a diesel tanker, everything turned to ashes within seconds.

Mohammad Aslam, a cousin of the grieving family, tearfully says, “We have lost 18 people... gone in a blink. We demand a thorough investigation and accountability for those responsible.” His voice quivers, each word laced with pain.
Another family was entirely torn apart by the tragedy—Sabiha Begum, her son Irfan, daughter-in-law Humaira, and their two young children, Hamdan and Izaan. Relatives reminisce, “The children had embarked on their first Umrah… they were so joyful.”

Haj Committee Promises Support
Ghulam Afzal Biyabani, Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee, stated that though they cannot control private operators, they will extend every possible help to the families. “This is an incredibly tough time. We promise complete information and support. My deepest condolences,” he expressed.
