Recently, a significant uproar erupted in JNU's library over the implementation of digital entry. A video surfaced, showing a group of students attempting to destroy the machines installed at the library's entry gate. It is reported that students supported by left-wing groups expressed their discontent by resorting to vandalism.

The administration has implemented a digital entry system in JNU's library. A few days ago, some left-wing students opposed this move. The protest saw students marching to the digital entry machines in the library and engaging in acts of destruction.

The protestors, engaged in vandalism, were captured on video. It is said that on November 21, guided by former JNU student union president Nitish, some students arrived to oppose the digital entry implementation.

During the protest, the group became aggressive, with former student union president Nitish Kumar seen forcibly damaging the machines. In the video, Nitish appears with a red shawl around his neck. Despite security personnel stationed there trying their best to prevent the damage, the machines were still vandalized.

The ABVP students have condemned this vandalism conducted under the guise of opposing digital entry in the library. As of now, there has been no response from the left-wing side on this entire matter.
