The voting for the second and final phase in Jharkhand has concluded, and the exit polls have started to surface. According to MATRIZE exit poll numbers, the INDIA alliance is expected to face a considerable setback, with the BJP-led NDA alliance poised to form the government.

As per MATRIZE exit poll stats, out of the 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand, the NDA alliance led by BJP is likely to secure 42-47 seats. The Congress-led INDIA alliance is projected to get 25-30 seats, with 1-4 seats potentially going to other parties.

According to CHANAKYA STRATEGIES exit poll, the NDA alliance might win 45-50 seats. The JMM-led UPA alliance is expected to secure between 35-38 and 03-05 seats, while 3 to 5 seats may go to others.

JVC exit poll predicts that the BJP-leading NDA alliance could secure 40-44 seats in the state. The UPA alliance, led by JMM, might win 30-40 seats. For others, only one seat is forecasted.

The first exit poll from Maharashtra indicates 150-170 seats for the Grand Alliance.
Results due on November 23

It should be noted that voting in Jharkhand took place in two phases, and results are anticipated on November 23. The first phase voting occurred on November 13 over 43 seats, followed by the second phase on November 20 across 38 seats. The count will be on November 23.

Higher turnout in the second phase

Today, on November 20, voting was conducted for 38 seats under the second phase in Jharkhand. As of 5 PM, a voter turnout of 67.59 percent was recorded. In the first phase, voting was held on November 13 for 43 seats, exceeding 66.18% turnout. The highest voting was observed in Lohardaga district. In the previous election in 2019, voter turnout was 63.9% in the state.
