She refuted all accusations made by her alleged spouse, Neeraj Vishwakarma, asserting there was no marriage. However, she did acknowledge having a relationship with him.
On the other hand, Neeraj Vishwakarma presented evidence to the police, which prima facie confirmed their marriage. Only the couple knows the truth. The photos reveal Richa arriving at her in-laws' post-marriage celebration, engaging in dance, and taking part in household activities. Neeraj claims that since Richa became an accountant, she decided to leave him, citing his carpentry profession as a factor.

Breaking silence on Neeraj's claims, Richa argued, "We were never married. He created fake documents to show we were married. He’s made false photos before and threatened to defame me with them. He's troublesome, often drunk, and once assaulted me in the street in front of everyone. I've complained to the police several times. The police warned him too, but he's not backing down. It’s complete blackmail. We've been in a relationship, and the photos belong to that time; anything about a marriage is untrue."

Countering Richa's allegations, Neeraj said none of his marriage documents or photos are fake. "Our marriage was consensual. We have the photos and certificates to prove it. Everything is legally documented. If she believes this is incorrect, she should file a lawsuit against me. Now that I am poor and she is an established accountant, she has left me. All I want is my wife back; why would I defame her?" Neeraj questioned.
