Renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, has updated the color lineup of its popular bike, the Jawa 42, in the Indian market. Known for its retro appearance paired with modern technology, the Jawa 42 now graces us with a novel hue - Ivory. This new shade bestows a unique and premium aesthetic that is particularly appealing to those seeking a blend of classic style with exclusivity.
The newly launched Ivory variant of the Jawa 42 is priced at INR 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant now emerges as the priciest option in the lineup. Previously, the dual-channel ABS and alloy wheels model was priced at INR 1.83 lakh. The updated price indicates a direct appeal to premium customers.
The pastel Ivory shade adorns the bike's front fender, headlamp cover, fuel tank, side panel, and rear fender. The tank proudly displays 'Forty Two' in bold typography, while '42' is elegantly numbered on the side panel, setting it apart from other color variants. The engine and additional components are finished in black paint to provide a factory-custom look.

Mechanically, the new Ivory Jawa 42 remains unchanged. It features a 294.7cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 27 BHP power and 26.84 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a six-speed gearbox that offers an assist and slipper clutch for a superior riding experience. Built on a double cradle frame, the bike features telescopic forks in the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The high-spec variant includes alloy wheels, while customers can also choose wire-spoked rims as an option.
Under the Jawa Yezdi Ownership Assurance Program, the Jawa 42 provides a 4-year or 50,000-kilometer standard warranty. Additionally, customers can opt for an extended warranty at an additional cost, which could extend the total warranty up to 6 years. Furthermore, the bike offers up to 8 years of roadside assistance and a 5-year AMC package, applicable nationwide.
