A sensational murder case has surfaced in the village of Khwajapur, under the Khuthan police station in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. A brother-in-law has shockingly attacked and killed his sister-in-law by slashing her throat with a knife. Subsequently, he chased his brother and niece, intending to harm them as well. In a desperate attempt to save their lives, the brother quickly picked up his child and fled to the police station. There, he reported that his brother had murdered his wife by cutting her throat with a knife. The police swiftly responded and arrested the suspect at the scene.
Pawan Maurya, originally from the Sultanpur district, lived in Surat with his wife Nisha and cousin Aditya. Pawan's maternal home is in the village Khwajapur, Jaunpur, under Khuthan police jurisdiction. On January 29, Pawan visited his maternal home with his brother and immediate family.
Fleeing to the Station with Child in Arms
According to Pawan, they were out in the afternoon to buy medication. Seizing the opportunity, Aditya launched a knife attack on Pawan's wife, Nisha, slashing her throat and murdering her. Upon returning from the market, Pawan was also threatened by Aditya, who chased him with an intent to kill. Pawan escaped, carrying his 6-year-old daughter in his arms.
Once reaching the police station, Pawan reported the brutal murder of his wife by his brother. Responding to the report, the police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested Aditya. The knife was recovered based on his indication.
The Photo Sent to Girlfriend's Father
During questioning, Shahganj Sub-Division Officer Ajit Chauhan mentioned that Aditya confessed to the murder. Explaining the motive behind the gruesome act, he revealed that Aditya was in love with a girl from Mumbai. His sister-in-law was aware of this affair and sent a photo of Aditya and the girl to her father. Displeased, the father assaulted the girl. Deeply troubled by the situation, the girl's mother committed suicide. Consequently, Aditya harbored resentment towards his sister-in-law, seeking revenge by tragically ending her life on Thursday afternoon.
