In October 2022, Pakistan was removed from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) gray list due to its efforts to curb terrorist financing. Despite these assurances, the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) main base in Bahawalpur saw rapid proliferation at the same time.

According to satellite photos, the 'Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah' has grown beyond 18 acres, doubling in size. This mosque, originally built between 2011-12, saw accelerated construction from late 2022, coinciding with Pakistan's gray list removal. These satellite images, provided to Aaj Tak by geo-intelligence researcher Damien Symon from 'The Intel Lab,' highlight the expansion.
