A devastating accident occurred near a petrol pump in the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur, following a dangerous collision between an LPG truck and a CNG truck. According to reports, more than 40 vehicles were engulfed in flames one after another. During this chaos, a bus filled with passengers also caught fire, tragically burning alive 7 individuals, with over 40 others reported injured.
According to the latest information, Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital received 5 dead bodies and 37 burned individuals.

'Fire all around...'
An eyewitness named Sunil explained the terrifying scene to Aaj Tak, describing the event in detail. Sunil shared, "We were traveling from Rajsamand to Jaipur. Suddenly, an explosion occurred right next to our bus. Fire was all around us, and even inside the bus."
He further explained that when they tried to escape, they found the main gate locked. They broke the window to get out with 8 to 10 others, while some remained trapped and burned.
Relief efforts underway
On the fire incident, Jaipur DM Jitendra Soni stated, "About 40 vehicles were engulfed in flames. Following the accident report, fire brigade and ambulance services arrived at the scene. Relief efforts are ongoing. The fire has been brought under control, sparing only 1-2 vehicles. Approximately 23-24 people have been injured."

Incident on Jaipur-Ajmer highway
The fire tragedy unfolded around 6 AM on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan. CM expresses sorrow over the incident
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his sorrow over the incident. He personally visited the SMS Hospital in Jaipur to check on the injured. CM posted on social media, "Saddened to hear the tragic news of casualties due to the gas tanker fire on the Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway. Immediately after receiving the information, I visited the SMS Hospital and instructed doctors to provide immediate medical facilities and proper care to the injured. Rescue operations by the administration are ongoing."
