The city of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh witnessed a tragic turn of events due to an ancestral property conflict, leading to familial bloodshed. Bablu Chaudhary launched a lethal knife attack in broad daylight on his elder brother Sanjay and sister-in-law Babita, resulting in their instant demise. Following the heinous act, Bablu managed to flee and remain at large. This Incident is within the Ghamapur police jurisdiction.
According to obtained information, the Chaudhary brothers have been embroiled in a prolonged dispute over ancestral property. A spat broke out again on the festival 'Bhai Dooj,' which was temporarily calmed with intervention by their sisters and a plan to erect a partition wall in the house. On Friday, as the elder brother was preparing for the wall construction, tensions reignited.

During this heated moment, Bablu, in a fit of rage, attacked his sister-in-law first and then dragged his brother out of their residence to a public area, where he continued his brutal knife spree. The CCTV footage revealed Bablu relentlessly assaulting his elder brother in the street, showcasing extreme aggression that endangered others who attempted to intervene. At the time of the incident, Sanjay's two young children were present, who had to flee to save themselves.
Ghamapur Police Station's Inspector-in-charge, Prateeksha Marko, communicated the police's diligent investigation into the matter while pursuing accused Bablu Chaudhary. This crime has sent waves of grief and outrage throughout the local population. Authorities have commenced an in-depth probing based on CCTV evidence and other clues collected at the scene.
