The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are relentlessly conducting airstrikes on Iran-backed Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, hitting over 100 locations. This action was taken in response to airstrikes from Lebanon. Amid these attacks on Hezbollah strongholds, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is set to convene a security cabinet meeting.
According to Israeli media, the IDF Chief of Staff is personally overseeing the strikes. Guided by intelligence, Air Force patrols are meticulously identifying Hezbollah targets. Dozens of fighter jets have been relentlessly attacking southern Lebanon for an hour.
Operations at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv have been temporarily suspended, and rocket sirens are sounding in northern Israel. Israel's national emergency and ambulance service, MDA, stated it has raised the alert level to 'severe.'
On Sunday morning, the Israeli army reported that it had learned about Hezbollah's preparations for a massive attack on Israel, prompting it to target Hezbollah's Lebanon-based positions in self-defense.

Warning to the People
Addressing the residents of southern Lebanon in Arabic, the Israeli army said, 'We are monitoring Hezbollah's preparations for massive attacks near your homes in Israeli territory. You are in danger. We are attacking to neutralize these threats.' Israel warned southern Lebanon residents to leave their homes for safety as it is launching attacks to defend itself, and Hezbollah has endangered Lebanese civilians' lives.
Targeting Hezbollah Strongholds
The Israeli army claimed that its fighter jets targeted 10 Hezbollah sites, including weapons depots, bases, and a rocket launch pad in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has suffered significant damage from these attacks. Before this, Hezbollah launched a series of missile attacks on Israel on Saturday.
Hezbollah's attack destroyed several homes inside Israeli territory. The IDF shared a video on their X account showing homes engulfed in flames as a result of Hezbollah's attack in retaliation to Israeli strikes on Friday.

Ongoing Strikes on Gaza
Meanwhile, the conflict between Hamas and Israel in Gaza has been raging for 11 months. The Israeli army is conducting relentless heavy bombardments, leading to a high number of casualties daily. The Gaza Health Ministry claims the death toll has exceeded 40,000, with approximately 40,265 people killed so far. In the latest attack on Friday, 16 people were killed, including many women and children.
