Israel has successfully expelled Hezbollah militants from 130 towns and villages in southern Lebanon, actively conducting ground operations in these areas. In a mortar attack along the northern border, two Israeli reserve soldiers tragically lost their lives. Israel is now preparing to deploy more troops.
This all points towards an escalated confrontation with Hezbollah, as the Israeli military intensifies its ground operations. Hezbollah, meanwhile, continues to launch rockets towards northern Israel.

Master Sergeant Ete Azule, 25, at Oranit near the West Bank, and Warrant Officer Aviv Megan in the Herat region, were killed. Both were part of the elite 5515 Combat Mobility Unit of the Israeli Defense Forces. Another soldier is critically injured and currently receiving medical treatment.
Operation to Continue Until Hezbollah Neutralized
Israel commenced a targeted military campaign to dismantle Hezbollah bases near the border. The Lebanese populace was urged to evacuate to safer locations before the operations began.

10,000 Israeli Troops Inside Lebanon
On the night of October 6, 2024, a third Israeli division infiltrated Lebanon, joining two already present. Nearly 10,000 Israeli troops are conducting extensive ground-clearing operations.
