Iran's Emerging Leadership in the Muslim World Surprises America

The ceasefire with Israel has brought joy to PDP Chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Praising Iran, she noted its emergence as a new leader in the Muslim world through this conflict. In the 12-day long conflict, Iran taught America and Israel a significant lesson, a matter of pride for Muslims globally.

'Iran Dusted America'

She stated, 'I salute the people, the military, and the leadership of Iran for fighting a superpower like America without weapons or nuclear bombs, yet they bested America and Israel in this war. The ceasefire request didn't come from Iran. This conflict has elevated Iran's status, making it a leader in the Muslim world.

The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir remarked that Iran gave America a lesson it would remember for a long time. She noted that Donald Trump needed to discuss ceasing hostilities with Qatar, stating Israel is ready for a ceasefire, now it is Iran's turn to agree. She added, 'As a Muslim and for all Muslims worldwide, this is joyous. Sadly, no Muslim country supported Iran.'

China and Russia's Assistance

Mufti acknowledged the support Iran received from Russia and China, commending them for their involvement. This conflict pushed America to its knees, offering Iran a chance to emerge as a new power. She said Iran can now hold its head high, whereas it was once perceived as a villain. Iran has undoubtedly shown great determination, and I am proud of them for that.

In reaction to Pakistan's nomination of American President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, Mufti criticized the move as premature and naïve. She remarked, 'It's disappointing that Pakistan nominated Trump for such an honor. I believe it's a premature and naive decision, particularly for someone uncertain of what he says or does next.'

Speaking on the Iran-Israel ceasefire, National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah expressed happiness if it turns out true since many innocent lives were lost. He emphasized the importance of ending the war for humanity's sake and its economic impact globally. World leaders exerted pressure on America to halt the conflict, as no country desires war.
