A terrifying incident has come to light from the Aurai police station area in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar. Here, a minor girl, who had gone to get her mobile repaired, was brutally gang-raped. After committing this heinous act, the culprits whisked the victim, drenched in blood, away in a car, eventually discarding her 25 kilometers away near the Sitamarhi district border in the bushes. The victim has suffered severe head injuries. She was experiencing continual bleeding from her private parts and was admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday, July 26. Around 11 a.m., the victim went to a village shop to get her mobile fixed but did not return home even by late night. Her family searched for her throughout the night, and upon failing to locate her, they lodged a missing and kidnapping report at Aurai police station. Early next morning on Sunday, around 2 a.m., they received information that an unconscious young woman had been found near bushes in the Pupri police station area of Sitamarhi district. The family rushed to the spot.
Upon reaching there, they found the victim lying in a critically injured state. She had a deep gash on her head, and blood was pouring from her private parts. Initially, she was admitted to a local hospital in Sitamarhi, but due to her worsening condition, she was referred to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur. Doctors have consulted a neurosurgeon, and approximately 10 stitches were needed for her head injury. Her condition remains critical and she regained partial consciousness 24 hours post-assault.
Assaulted Within the Shop Itself
The police were quick to take action in this case and have arrested the mobile shop owner, Mintu Sharma, and his accomplice Ganesh Kumar Sah. Both accused hail from the victim's village. During interrogation, Mintu Sharma confessed that the victim had arrived at his shop on Saturday. He, along with his accomplice Ganesh, attacked her in the shop itself. When her condition started deteriorating and bleeding didn’t stop, they decided to take her away in a car on the highway.
