President Donald Trump has issued his first response to the Iranian attack on a US base located in Qatar. Trump stated that Iran's counteraction was predictably weak. Fortunately, no American citizens were harmed, and the missile attacks were effectively intercepted.
On the social media platform Truth, Trump wrote, 'Iran's official retaliation concerning the US attack on their nuclear plant proved to be very weak. This was the type of weak response we anticipated, and we successfully neutralized these attacks. Iran launched 14 missiles, 13 of which were destroyed. One missile was deliberately left because it was veering off course. Pleased to report that no American lives were endangered in this attack, and we experienced minimal damage, which is negligible. Most importantly, all missiles were neutralized by our defense systems. We hope that no further hostile actions will occur. I want to thank Iran for giving prior notice of the attack, which allowed us to ensure no American lives were lost and no injuries occurred. I also hope Israel will continue moving towards peace for regional stability.'
