The mini-auction for IPL 2026 took place on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. Bids were placed for a total of 369 players, with 77 players being sold. Among those sold, there were 48 Indian and 29 foreign stars. Franchise teams spent a total of ₹215.45 crore during the auction. However, the standout feature of this auction was the attention drawn towards uncapped players (players who haven't played international matches) who attracted significant bids. Selling at Multiple Times Their Base Price

As witnessed in past IPL auctions, the prices for both players skyrocketed. Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma saw an incredible surge of 4,633.33% over their base prices. These players now form an integral part of the future for Chennai Super Kings.

Besides Prashant and Kartik, Aqib Nabi Dar from Jammu & Kashmir also stood among players who saw a remarkable hike in their prices.

Aqib Dar Fetches ₹8.40 Crore

Showcasing excellent performance in domestic cricket, Aqib Nabi Dar was acquired by Delhi Capitals for ₹8.40 crore. His base price was ₹30 lakh, marking a 2,700% increase.

Earlier in the day, Kolkata Knight Riders made Cameron Green the most expensive foreign player in IPL history by purchasing him for ₹25.20 crore. Green's base price was ₹2 crore.

Hefty Sum for Mangesh Yadav

Another player who attracted intense bidding was Mangesh Yadav. He was bought for ₹5.20 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore. With a base price of ₹30 lakh, this reflects a 1,633.33% increase.

Mangesh Yadav, known as a yorker specialist in domestic cricket, has previously played alongside RCB captain Rajat Patidar. He was included as a possible replacement or cover for Yash Dayal, whose participation in the next IPL season remains uncertain.

Tejaswi Singh Secures ₹3 Crore

Another player for Kolkata Knight Riders, Tejaswi Singh, was bought for ₹3 crore. His base price was ₹30 lakh, indicating a 900% increase.

The last name on the list is Mukul Choudhary, purchased by Lucknow Super Giants for ₹2.6 crore. His base price was ₹30 lakh, exhibiting a 766.67% increase.
