In Jharkhand, a scuffle and minor stone-pelting ensued between two groups during a procession for Ram Navami festivities at Jhanda Chowk, Hazaribagh, on Tuesday. One group played certain songs during the procession, which the other group objected to, leading to the skirmish and stone-pelting. However, security forces stationed there managed to control the situation, preventing it from escalating further. Air firing was resorted to in attempts to stabilize the situation.

Following the altercation, CM Hemant Soren himself came forward to address law and order issues and assured that any hateful conspiracies in the state would be countered. Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that prior instructions were issued to monitor any mischievous individuals. The administration's vigilance spans across all areas.

Currently, the situation is peaceful and under control. Adequate security forces are deployed at the scene. To gain insights into the current conditions, the Aaj Tak team reached out to ground situations.

BJP MP Manish Jaiswal from Hazaribagh asserted, "Once again, stones have been pelted at Hindu processions. A particular group was responsible for this, which was anticipated beforehand. The police were informed but did not prepare. How long will Hindus demonstrate tolerance?
