Gangster Kala Jathedi alias Sandeep Weds Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary:

The infamous gangster Sandeep, also known as Kala Jathedi, and known as Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary, tied the knot amid great fanfare in Dwarka, Delhi. Priest Pawan Agnihotri officiated their wedding at Santosh Garden. Earlier, the bride, namely Lady Don Anuradha, had driven herself in a Scorpio from Sonipat to Delhi, with family members in tow. The venue, a banquet hall, was heavily guarded. Entry was strictly regulated and no one without an ID card was allowed inside.

Media cameras and mobile phones were banned at the wedding ceremony. Although journalists attended, they did so without their electronic devices. The rituals, conducted by Priest Pawan Agnihotri, were completed in only half an hour due to the time constraints imposed by the police administration.

Guest entry was strictly monitored via two metal detectors and everyone had to pass through them. Additionally, each guest received a unique bar code, which had to be scanned before entering the marriage hall that was patrolled by over 150 police officers.

Law enforcement from four states and central agencies closely monitored the wedding with detailed plans for input gathering, sharing, and countering any potential threats. Just two days before the wedding on March 10, Delhi Police had arrested five shooters belonging to Jathedi's gang. The teams from Delhi Police and the Special Cell were specially assigned to keep watch over the marriage hall. All staff working at the wedding were also issued ID cards by the Delhi Police.

This wedding was unlike any other due to its unique circumstances: a bridegroom coming directly from jail to the wedding, and a bride out on bail for several months. The groom had been granted a special six-hour custody parole for the wedding, while the bride had separate police protection arranged. Over 150 police officers were specifically on duty for the event at the marriage palace.

The love story of Kala Jathedi and Anuradha Chaudhary began three years ago when they were both wanted for separate crimes and were evading capture. It was during their flight from the law that they fell in love and secretly wed in Haridwar. However, to fulfill their families' wishes and to legitimize their relationship in the eyes of the law, the couple decided to get married again. This recent wedding has brought both Delhi Police and central agencies to high alert.

The future for a bride with 19 cases against her and a groom with over 40 criminal charges is uncertain. The bride, however, seems to be focusing on a hopeful future rather than worrying about the uncertainty that lies ahead.

The bride was understandably excited about the wedding but also concerned about the potential risks. While she's out on bail, her groom faces serious charges under acts like MCOCA, raising suspicions of a potential attack during their ceremony. Nevertheless, the wedding proceeded without incident thanks to comprehensive security measures.
