Counterfeit Notes Printed with Printers and UV Machines, Fake Currency Reached ₹20 Lakhs

Indore police raided Manpreet's location and seized counterfeit notes, a printer, and a UV machine. To date, ringleader Manpreet has circulated fake notes worth twenty lakhs in Mumbai, Indore, and other cities.

Indore police have seized counterfeit notes worth 20 lakh rupees along with a printer and a UV lamination machine. They have also arrested five culprits, including the mastermind behind this operation.

On January 20, the Lasudia Police in Indore captured a man with 56 counterfeit notes amounting to 23,500 rupees. After obtaining information about the continuous supply of fake notes from him, the police arrested the mastermind and four additional suspects involved.

In this context, IPS officer and Lasudia Police ACP Ashish Patle mentioned that the previously arrested Shubham Rajak was found with counterfeit notes worth 23,500 rupees. The suspect revealed the involvement of Mahipal from Rajasthan.

After apprehending Mahipal, a connection to Nagpur was unraveled. Based on this lead, the team raided there, uncovering information about Manpreet. Upon raiding Manpreet's hideout, counterfeit notes, a printer, and a UV machine were discovered.

Altogether, five suspects, including Kuntal, Manpreet, Mahipal Meda, Shubham Rajak, and Anurag Chauhan, have been taken into custody. To date, Manpreet, the ringleader, has distributed counterfeit notes worth twenty lakhs in cities like Mumbai and Indore.
