Domestic Dispute Turns Violent in Indore: A Man and His Spouses' Conflict Escalates

A domestic squabble in Indore intensifies as a man and his first wife team up to attack his second wife, leading to a police case and arrests under serious charges.

A shocking domestic conflict emerged in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a man joined forces with his first wife to attack his second wife and even tried to throw her off the balcony. Police reports revealed that the man had separated from his first wife and started living with another woman. Eventually, he reconciled with his first wife and the pair began living together again, which sparked the conflict.

The incident took place in Narwal, within the jurisdiction of the Banganga Police Station. Pooja, a local resident, filed a police complaint stating she had been living separately from her in-laws. Her husband, Jitendra, had previously separated from his first wife, but after reconciling with her, began living with Pooja again. However, the couple's reunion led to renewed disputes.

In the course of events, the victim, Pooja, started living separately. Soon, her husband Jitendra, along with his first wife Gayatri, mother-in-law Basanti Bai, and sister-in-law Payal, arrived at her home and began hurling abuses. Following the verbal assault, the first wife, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law restrained the victim, allowing Jitendra to attack Pooja with the intent to kill using a knife and a brick.

Police officer Rajesh Dandotiya shared that upon Pooja's complaint, they registered an FIR against the husband, his first wife Gayatri, mother-in-law Basanti Bai, and sister-in-law Payal under Section 307 among other charges. All accused were arrested and sent to jail. Investigations continue while the injured wife receives medical treatment at the hospital.
