Virat Kohli Pays Homage at Mahakal Temple Before Indore Match, Performs Puja with Simplicity

Renowned cricketers Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav visited the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain and took part in the Bhasma Aarti. Note that the Indian team is currently competing against New Zealand in a One-Day series, with the last match of the 3-match series scheduled to take place in Indore.

The final game of the 3-match ODI series between India and New Zealand is scheduled for Sunday in Indore. Currently, both teams are tied 1-1 in the series. Ahead of this decisive match, Indian team's coach Gautam Gambhir and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak visited the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain. KL Rahul and other members of Team India also sought blessings there.

On Saturday morning, in the latest sequence of events, Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav reached the Mahakal Temple. Accompanied by fielding coach T. Dilip, they were seen engrossed in their devotion. Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav harbor deep faith in Lord Mahakal, which draws them back to Ujjain whenever time permits.

On Saturday morning, Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav joined the Bhasma Aarti and performed a formal worship ceremony, seeking blessings from Baba Mahakal. They paid obeisance to Lord Shiva during the ceremony. Notably, Kohli and Yadav are major players in the current ODI series. Meanwhile, other team members have also reached Indore for the forthcoming match on January 18.

As Saturday dawned, several players took time out of their hectic schedules to seek the divine presence of Baba Mahakal in Ujjain. Among them, Kohli and Yadav prominently partook in the Bhasma Aarti at the Mahakal Temple, sitting through the aarti for nearly two hours.

Kohli clicked a photo while visiting the Mahakal Temple. During his visit, he was seen sitting near the Nandi statue in the main courtyard, with fielding coach T. Dilip just behind him.

Kuldeep Yadav Praises Lord Mahakal, Hopes for World Cup Success.

After performing Pooja, Kuldeep Yadav spoke to the media, sharing his positive experience at the temple. He mentioned feeling tranquility and expressed hope that their World Cup outing will be blessed by Mahakal. Enthusiastic about their legends, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep appreciated the energy and peace they bring, while also acknowledging the rising talent among young Indian players.
