At the esteemed Asian Leadership Conference 2025 in Seoul, South Korea, Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha presented India’s robust anti-terror policy to the global audience. Highlighting the recent 'Operation Sindoor', he asserted that India now delivers precise and decisive responses to terrorist attacks.

Chadha remarked that following the terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir on April 22, India made it clear that no corner of the terrorist infrastructure would be spared. He emphasized, “While India advocates peace, we will not hesitate to act if our citizens are targeted.”

Introduction to India's New Terrorism Policy

In his address, Chadha emphasized India's 'zero tolerance' policy towards terrorism. He stated that India no longer relies only on diplomatic responses but, if necessary, undertakes cross-border military operations as illustrated by Operation Sindoor. He elaborated, “India is no longer a nation that merely mourns in the aftermath of attacks. We now pursue comprehensive strategies and actions aimed at extinguishing the sources of terror.”

Call for Global Unity

Pointing to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, Chadha urged the international community to unite against this global threat. He declared, “This is not only India’s fight but a battle for the entire world. Terrorism knows no religion and must not be shielded by any borders.”

Chadha cited figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Subhash Chandra Bose to highlight India’s multifaceted heritage, noting that while India espouses non-violence, it also draws inspiration for decisive action from its rich historical soil.

Sharing the Stage with Global Leaders

Raghav Chadha stood alongside prominent figures such as former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, ex-US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Australia's former PM Tony Abbott, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, and Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman. The conference involved extensive discussions on critical matters like geopolitics, climate challenges, and worldwide growth trends.
