According to the CPRO of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra, several trains on the Firozpur division’s Sanehwal-Amritsar section have been cancelled due to loop line conversion work at Sanehwal station. Some trains will be rerouted, and a few will operate under partial termination/commencement and control. Let's check the full list.
Cancelled Trains: These trains will be cancelled
> The Amritsar-Jaynagar Special (Train No. 04652) departing from Amritsar on August 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, and 25, 2024, will be cancelled.
> The Jaynagar-Amritsar Special (Train No. 04651) departing from Jaynagar on August 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, and 27, 2024, will be cancelled.
> The Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Special (Train No. 04654) departing from Amritsar on August 14 and 21, 2024, will be cancelled.
> The New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Special (Train No. 04653) departing from New Jalpaiguri on August 16 and 23, 2024, will be cancelled.
Diverted Trains List: Trains to be run on diverted routes
> The Purnia Court-Amritsar Express (Train No. 14617), departing from Purnia Court on August 20, 23, 24, and 25, 2024, will run via the diverted route of Ambala-Rajpura-Dhuri-Ludhiana, bypassing Sarhind and Dhandari Kalan stations.
> The Jaynagar-Amritsar Express (Train No. 14649), departing from Jaynagar on August 20, 23, and 25, 2024, will run via the diverted route of Ambala-Rajpura-Dhuri-Ludhiana, bypassing Sarhind, Govindgarh, and Khanna stations.
