Operation Sindhur: Ensuring Justice, Says Rajnath Singh

Moving forward with a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clarified that new India will undertake effective actions on both sides of the border against terrorism. Operation Sindhur brought justice to those who tarnished India's honor, with the nation applauding the Indian Army for its dedication.

Operation Sindhur symbolizes not merely a military endeavor but an emblem of India's political, social, and strategic resolve against terrorism. Today is a Remarkable Day: Rajnath Singh

Whilst inaugurating the BrahMos facility, Singh mentioned the special significance of the day. Known globally as National Technology Day, it marks the day in 1998 when under the leadership of our esteemed Atal Bihari Vajpayee, India showcased its strength with the Pokhran nuclear tests. This day celebrates our scientists and engineers' relentless efforts.

Personally significant to me, my vision for Lucknow to significantly contribute to India's defense sector is materializing. Celebrating National Technology is momentous, signifying pride in inaugurating this facility.

In future recognition similar to Prayagraj, Lucknow will be renowned, especially as BrahMos missiles will now be made here. The defense sector sees remarkable prospects, evidenced by the inauguration of the Defense Expo in Lucknow. UP's growth across all sectors deserves credit for which I commend Yogi's governance.

Our Government is Advancing in All Fields

Rajnath Singh stated how our defense industry, including DPSUs and private units, stimulates industrial units like MSMEs, generating employment opportunities. I believe this facility will play a similar role.

You all recognize, whether it is the central government or the state, our policy remains clear: Make in India, Make for the World. For us, self-reliance in defense is extensive; manufacturing arms and equipment domestically alongside exporting globally is our aim.

A vast market awaits arms and equipment. With the BrahMos facility's commencement, approximately 500 direct and 1000 indirect jobs have materialized. Our dual-engine government in Uttar Pradesh drives development in sports, agriculture, culture, connectivity, policing, policymaking, technology, and tourism.
