The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has made a significant announcement for students: the previously postponed CA exams will now be conducted from May 16 to 24, 2025. Initially, these exams were scheduled for May 9 to 14, 2025, but due to security situations, a revised schedule was announced Saturday night by ICAI.

Change in Exam Dates Amidst India-Pak Tensions
The ICAI noted in an official notice that considering favorable developments in the country's security situation, the Chartered Accountants' Final, Intermediate, and INTT-AT (PQC) exams, which were originally set for May 9, 2025, to May 14, 2025, will now be held from May 16, 2025, to May 24, 2025. On May 16, 2025, ICAI will administer Final Exam (Group II) Paper - 5, Indirect Tax Laws / International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT - AT), and Paper - 1, International Tax - Transfer Pricing, which was initially planned for May 10.

Intermediate Exam (Group II) Paper - 4, Cost and Management Accounting, will now occur on May 20. Intermediate Exam (Group II) Paper - 5, Auditing and Ethics, is scheduled for May 22. The rescheduled exams, as previously stated, will be conducted at the same examination centers and at the same times, from 2 PM to 5 PM (IST) / 2 PM to 6 PM (IST). It should be noted that previously issued admit cards will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.
Exams Will Be Held as Per the Scheduled Program
Chartered Accountants Foundation May-2025 exams will be conducted per the scheduled program on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025. ICAI stated that no changes will be made to the exam schedule in case a public holiday is declared by the central or any state government/local holiday on any exam day.
