The Indian Air Force is gearing up to test the Rudram-3 missile shortly, employing the formidable Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet for the trial. Experts anticipate that the missile could be fully integrated into the IAF's Su-30MKI fleet by the last quarter of the current year.

The Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet is a marvel of engineering excellence, ranked among the top ten deadliest fighter jets worldwide. It spans 72 feet in length and has a wingspan of 48.3 feet. Standing at 20.10 feet high, this combat machine tips the scales at 18,400 kilograms, boasting a top speed of 2,120 km/h.

The Su-30MKI's flight range is an impressive 3,000 kilometers, extendable up to 8,000 kilometers with mid-air refueling. It is capable of soaring to altitudes up to 57,000 feet. The integration of the Rudram-3 missile is expected to significantly amplify the combat capabilities of both the fighter jet and the air force.
