The India Today Conclave 2024 has officially kicked off. On the first day of this two-day event, RSS's all-India publicity chief Sunil Ambekar referred to BJP President JP Nadda's comments during the Lok Sabha elections as a 'family matter.'
In fact, Nadda made these remarks when asked about the difference in the presence of RSS during Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's time and now. Nadda said, "Initially, we were less capable, small, and needed the RSS. Today, we have grown and are capable. BJP runs on its own. That is the difference."

On Wednesday, at the India Today Conclave, RSS leader Sunil Ambekar described it as a family matter and denied any rift between the organization and BJP. Smiling, he said, "We resolve family matters like family matters. We do not discuss such issues on public platforms."
On the matter of women's participation in RSS programs and the lack of women in top leadership, he stated that RSS's work is primarily conducted through field branches. Thus, the organization was formed in 1925, and the Rashtra Sevika Samiti was established in 1936. So, field work happens in various ways. Wherever the nation-building conversation comes up, the involvement of women in almost all nation-related issues is ensured. Men participate in RSS branches, while women are active in the committee.

When asked how they identify those who see RSS as a ladder to the government, Sunil Ambekar said that RSS works on the ground. RSS training is very rigorous. One has to go to the ground daily and work very hard. Many people want to do good for society; very few wander off elsewhere. I think those who come, join RSS in doing good work. Some get involved in other activities. It doesn't matter to us; we focus on our work.
