India vs England 2nd T20 Live Cricket Score:

The second match in the T20 series between India and England was played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on Saturday (January 25). The Indian team overcame England by 2 wickets. Tilak Varma emerged as the hero of the victory, playing an unbeaten knock of 72 runs off 55 balls, featuring four boundaries and five sixes.

India needed 166 runs to win, achieving this target with four balls to spare. With this win, India has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. The third match will be played on January 28 in Rajkot.

India had a shaky start while chasing the target, losing three wickets in the powerplay. Kolkata T20 hero Abhishek Sharma was dismissed LBW by Mark Wood for just 12 runs. Sanju Samson (5) fell prey to Jofra Archer once again. Suryakumar Yadav's poor form continued as he was dismissed for 12 runs by Brydon Carse.

Dhruv Jurel and Hardik Pandya departed cheaply as well, bringing India's total to 78 for 5. However, Tilak Varma held his stance amidst falling wickets. Tilak, alongside Washington Sundar, put together a crucial 38-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Sundar scored 26 runs from 19 balls, adding three boundaries and a six. Sundar was castled by Brydon Carse. Afterward, Axar Patel (2) quickly followed Sundar back to the pavilion.

The Final 5 Overs of Drama...

In the last 5 overs, India needed 40 runs with three wickets in hand. The 16th over bowled by Jofra Archer saw Tilak Varma and Arshdeep Singh score 19 runs collectively. The equation now favored India, needing only 21 runs from 24 balls. Adil Rashid bowled the 17th over, conceding just 1 run and dismissing Arshdeep.

In the 18th over, Ravi Bishnoi hit a boundary, contributing to the total of 7 runs. India now required 13 runs from the final two overs. English captain Jos Buttler handed the 19th over to Liam Livingstone, where 7 runs were notched up, 4 by Bishnoi and 3 by Tilak. In the final over, India needed 6 runs. Tilak took 2 runs from the first delivery and clinched victory with a boundary on the second. Ravi Bishnoi remained unbeaten on 9 runs and supported Tilak excellently.

After losing the toss and batting first, England posted 165 runs for 9 wickets. England began poorly, losing Phil Salt's wicket in the first over. Salt was caught by Washington Sundar off Arshdeep Singh's bowling, scoring only 4 runs. Later, England also lost opener Ben Duckett (3), who fell to Sundar, handing a catch to Jurel. After losing Harry Brook (13) as well, England struggled.

Harry Brook was bowled by the mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy. Captain Jos Buttler played some big shots before his innings ended, thanks to spinner Axar Patel. Buttler scored 45 runs from 30 balls with 2 fours and three sixes. Axar then dismissed Liam Livingstone (13), and debutant Jamie Smith (22) was preyed upon by part-time spinner Abhishek Sharma.

Varun Chakravarthy took down Jamie Overton, handing England their seventh blow. England lost its eighth wicket as Brydon Carse, who scored a fiery 31 runs off 17 balls, hitting three sixes and a boundary. Adil Rashid was the ninth to fall, bowled by Hardik Pandya. Two Changes for Both Teams
