In protest against the arrest of Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the India Coalition has announced a mega rally in Delhi. Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress Party announced this at a joint press conference. The rally will be organized at the Ramlila Ground in the capital city, scheduled for March 31.

Leaders from the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, during the press conference, expressed outrage saying, "The manner in which the Prime Minister, adopting a dictatorial attitude, has arrested the Chief Minister of Delhi, reflects the assault on democracy and the constitution that is beloved to the citizens of this country. This is not just about Arvind Kejriwal."

Opposition leaders allege a systematic attempt to silence dissent, stating, "The Prime Minister is using the agencies to systematically dismantle the opposition, through lawmaker horse-trading and fake cases leading to their arrest. This has been seen from Jharkhand's Chief Minister's arrest to the silencing of India Coalition leaders from West Bengal to Bihar through bogus charges. Protests in Delhi and across the country are ongoing and will continue in the coming days."

The sealing of the Aam Aadmi Party's national office amidst the implementation of the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct is seen by the opposition as a move to transform Delhi into a garrison. Despite the Supreme Court dismissing the allegations of corruption, opposition leaders claim that the ruling party maintains their accusations yet offers no answers to the money trails revealed on the Election Commission's website, specifically pointing to a ₹600 million bond linked to Sharat Reddy's company. The leader of the AAP questions, "Why is the BJP silent? If the nation remains silent today, who will raise their voice?" Asserting their resistance to tyranny, they announced, "On March 31 at 10 AM, all of Delhi will come together at the Ramlila Ground."

Challenging the motives behind the pre-election arrest, AAP leader Gopal Rai states, "All prominent leaders from the parties associated with the India Coalition will join the major rally at Ramlila Ground on March 31." Meanwhile, Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely emphasized, "As Rahul Gandhi has initiated a countrywide fight to save democracy, the Congress Party will not lag behind. We stand firm in this struggle. It's distressing for all Indians, and I call on the youth to join us."
