In light of the Lok Sabha elections, six phases have concluded. With only the seventh and final phase on June 1 remaining, anticipation for the results is high. Ahead of this, India Block has revealed plans for an important meeting to take place in Delhi on the same day. All major coalition leaders have been invited to participate in a debate and review concerning the Lok Sabha elections.

The Lok Sabha election, which spans seven phases, concludes on June 1, 2024. With six phases completed, the final phase remains. India Block will hold a meeting with all allied parties to discuss and evaluate their election strategies post the conclusion of voting. Leaders like Tejashwi Yadav and MK Stalin are expected to be in attendance.

It was recently reported that elections in Delhi occurred on the past Saturday, where a direct contest was observed between the BJP and India Block across all seven constituencies. The Congress and AAP, united in this election, have also entered the fray. This is a historic first for AAP and Congress to field joint candidates against the BJP. AAP is contesting in four seats while Congress has put forward candidates in the remaining three. The BJP, who dominated all seven constituencies in 2019 with a significant margin, has expressed confidence in new faces by replacing 6 incumbent members.

The sixth phase of voting encompassed 58 constituencies across seven states and one union territory. Voters in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Haryana, and Delhi made their decision. According to the Election Commission, by 7:45 PM of the sixth phase, a voter turnout of 59.06% was recorded, the lowest of all the phases. By 11:45 PM, the turnout had risen to 61.20%. The final phase is set for June 1. The fifth phase saw a slightly higher turnout of 62.20%. The Election Commission noted these are preliminary figures and would be updated, potentially reflecting a final turnout increase.
