In a shocking turn of events surrounding the Barmer-Jaisalmer Lok Sabha independent candidate, Ravindra Singh Bhati, an alleged assassination threat has surfaced. Initially linked to the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's henchman, Rohit Godara, the situation took an unexpected twist when Rohit denied issuing any such threat. Through a Facebook post, he informed the public that he has no connection with this matter and claimed that his name was wrongfully used.

Residing abroad, Rohit Godara proclaimed via social media that he had not threatened to kill Ravindra Singh Bhati. He asserted that another individual used his name for this purpose and has requested a fair investigation by the police and administration, so that the truth can be revealed. Rohit alleges that certain political leaders in power want to suppress Ravindra Bhati by leveraging his name to issue threats.

Gangster Rohit Godara stated, 'I've received information that a threatening Facebook post was made in my name to Ravindra Singh Bhati. I have nothing to do with this threat. Ravindra Bhati has worked for the wellbeing of society, rising from a humble family background to participating in student politics, and now in the Lok Sabha, serving the public good. This is something that the powers be can't seem to stomach. Hence, they're trying to use my name to intimidate him. My fight is public knowledge, and it's not against any specific caste. Through this post, I urge the police to conduct a fair investigation into this threatening post.' He also wished Ravindra Singh Bhati a bright political future.

Since the murder of Karni Sena's national president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in Jaipur, Rohit Godara has been in the limelight. Various agencies have tightened their grip on him, and Interpol has even issued a Red Corner Notice against him. The threat to Ravindra Bhati was allegedly made using his name, with a grave warning that Bhati could share the same fate as Gogamedi. It was stated that Bhati was able to contest the elections due to Ummedaram Beniwal.

A Facebook post claiming to be from Rohit Godara of Kappurisar read, 'I am clearly warning Ravindra Singh Bhati: if he tries to leap up like this, it won't be long before people will say another Rajput star is gone, (referring to the late Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi). We could have made many changes before the elections, but Ravindra Singh Bhati was able to be a present candidate in this Lok Sabha election due to Ummedaram Beniwal's disappointing move to the Congress. Otherwise, we have put even big names at our feet, not just once but numerous times. We have no interest in contending in elections or craving for power. We only wish that our community is not looked upon with the wrong intent.'
