The South African squad has announced a formidable lineup to challenge Australia in this ultimate test battle. Noteworthy players such as Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton, and Tristan Stubbs, who have showcased their skills in the IPL, along with Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, and Lungi Ngidi, are included.

Led by Bavuma, South Africa arrives at the WTC final stage for the first time. Among the batsmen, David Bedingham stands out with 645 runs in 12 matches, followed by captain Temba Bavuma's impressive 609 runs in 7 matches. Ryan Rickelton is set to open the batting. Enthusiasm surrounds the inclusion of Aiden Markram and Tristan Stubbs, expected to deliver stellar performances. Dane Paterson, despite his commendable form against Pakistan in the last test series, was not chosen in favor of Ngidi. Bavuma explained, 'Lungi was selected for his exceptional pace, and we trust his ability.'
