ICC Champions Trophy 2025:

Hosted by Pakistan, the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has begun. Despite Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) offering very affordable tickets, the stadiums were notably empty, leading to social media mockery.

The opening match took place on Wednesday at Karachi's National Stadium, featuring a face-off between Pakistan and New Zealand. The notable absence of spectators in the stadium became a laughing stock on social media.

The Cost of Tickets for Matches in Pakistan

Remarkably, PCB priced tickets as low as 1,000 Pakistani Rupees (approximately 310 Indian Rupees). Despite these low prices, the stadium remained empty. All matches in Pakistan will be held in three stadiums: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, with the cheapest ticket priced at 1,000 Pakistani Rupees.

The cheapest ticket for the Pakistan-Bangladesh match in Rawalpindi is set at 2,000 Pakistani Rupees (approximately 620 Indian Rupees). Meanwhile, the Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai. Tickets for matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium are set at 125 dirhams (around 3,000 Indian Rupees).
