In Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, a domestic storm brewed when a wife, seemingly in the throes of a nightmare, repeatedly uttered her brother-in-law's name in her sleep. The husband, suspecting infidelity, resorted to violence. The wife contends it was merely a bad dream at play. The commotion escalated to the extent that both parties landed at the local police station. Authorities have since mitigated the tension, sending the couple home.

The incident took place in a village under the jurisdiction of Azimnagar police station, just six months after the couple's wedding. The husband accuses his wife of continuously mumbling her brother-in-law’s name in her sleep. The squabble occurred late Sunday night, around midnight, as the couple slept.

Chaos Ensues as Husband Hears Brother-in-Law's Name

Hearing his wife mentioning her brother-in-law time and again, the husband caused an uproar. He berated the brother-in-law while casting serious allegations on his wife and beating her. The noise attracted the attention of many locals. While the husband hurled accusations, the wife insisted that her habit of having eerie dreams might be the cause, mentioning her brother-in-law unknowingly in her sleep.
