Horrifying Discovery: Human Finger Found in Ice Cream Delivered Online

In a shocking incident in Malad, Mumbai, a human finger fragment found inside a cone of ice cream ordered online has caused a sensation. The startled customer immediately reported the matter to the Malad Police Station.

The Malad Police registered a case against Yummo Ice Cream Company and dispatched the ice cream for examination. The found human body part was also sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis.

Reportedly, 27-year-old Dr. Brendon Serrao, a resident of Malad, had consumed half of the Butter Scotch ice cream ordered through the Zepto app, when he felt something unusual on his tongue. Upon closer inspection, he discovered a piece of human finger inside the cone, leaving him utterly dismayed.

Dr. Serrao's sister informed the police of the incident and submitted the rest of the ice cream cone at the police station. Preliminary investigation by the police confirmed the presence of a human finger in the ice cream.

The police have sent the finger for forensic examination and have stated that they are treating the case with utmost seriousness. They plan to search the location where the ice cream was manufactured and packed.

Yummo Ice Cream issues statement

Following a customer complaint received on Wednesday, Yummo Ice Creams issued a statement that the company is taking cognizance of the incident. A spokesperson for the company announced that they have ceased production with the third-party manufacturer. The ice cream batch in question has been removed from warehouses, and measures are in place to do the same at the market level.

The spokesperson added that product quality and safety are the company's top priority. They were in the process of addressing the issue when the customer filed a police complaint. Yummo Ice Creams management states that it will cooperate with the authorities in the investigation of the case.
