Anita Devi, wife of Bihar's infamous gangster Ashok Mahto, is almost certain to enter the electoral fray from Munger Lok Sabha seat. Last night, Ashok Mahto once again visited Rabri residence and met with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.

It is said that Anita Devi has already been given the RJD symbol, but due to Congress's displeasure, the decision has not been made public.

Ashok Mahto spent 17 years behind bars

Accused of involvement in multiple massacres, Ashok Mahto has served 17 years in prison. He was released from prison on December 10, 2023, and soon began preparations for the elections.
