The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a significant move as the Lok Sabha elections approach, announcing the formation of its Election Manifesto Committee. The committee will be chaired by none other than Rajnath Singh, with Nirmala Sitharaman playing a crucial role as the coordinator. Piyush Goyal has been appointed as the deputy coordinator, signifying the strategic planning BJP has commenced for the upcoming elections. According to sources, the committee includes 27 influential members. Prominent political figures like Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, have also been incorporated into this powerful group.
In this influential election manifesto committee, personalities such as Arjun Munda, Bhupender Yadav, Smriti Irani, Arjunram Meghwal, Kiren Rijiju, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupender Patel, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Vishnudev Sai, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sushil Modi, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Vinod Tawde, Radhamohan Das, OP Dhankar, Anil Antony, and Tarique Mansoor take a stand.
It is notable that the BJP has already released seven lists regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Along with the seventh list, BJP has declared 407 of its candidates, indicating a well-calculated approach with 101 sitting MPs being replaced for the current electoral battle.
