He described 'Operation Sindhur' as a symbol of the nation’s anger and raised the slogan of 'Vocal for Local' advocating for indigenous products. Along with announcing reforms in GST, he shared several crucial policy changes. Prime Minister's Developed India Employment Plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a plan on August 15 involving an investment of ₹1 trillion for the youth. The Prime Minister's Developed India Employment Plan is effective from today, August 15. Under this scheme, first-time job seekers in the private sector will receive ₹15,000 from the government. Companies that generate more employment opportunities will also receive incentive funds. This scheme aims to create employment opportunities for approximately 35 million youths.

Next Generation GST Reforms

PM Modi announced an upcoming major gift for the nation this Diwali. He mentioned the significant GST reform over the past eight years aimed at reducing the tax burden and simplifying systems. The time has come to review it. By involving a high-powered committee and consulting states, the next generation of GST reforms will be introduced. This Diwali, it will be an exceptional offer for you. Taxes on essential necessities will be moderately reduced, significantly benefiting MSMEs and small industries while invigorating the economy.

Sudarshan Chakra Mission

Expand Nuclear Energy Tenfold by 2047

Underlining the focus on energy sectors, PM Modi shared India’s nuclear energy ambition. Ten more nuclear reactors are currently under construction, with the aim to expand nuclear capacity more than tenfold by the 100th anniversary of independence in 2047.
