A harrowing case of murder has emerged from the Amritsar district in Punjab. In a horrifying act, a husband transformed into a beast burned his six-month-pregnant wife alive, along with their unborn twins, who tragically perished before even experiencing the world. This incident has left the community in disbelief.
The appalling episode transpired in the Raia area of Amritsar, specifically in village Buled Nangal, where frequent disputes marred the household of a man named Sukhdev and his wife, Pinki. Lately, Pinki was carrying their future twins. A domestic conflict escalated into violence last Friday.
The accused, Sukhdev, in a fit of anger, tied his pregnant wife Pinki to the bed and menacingly set her on fire. Pinki’s screams did nothing to sway the merciless culprit. She succumbed to her injuries in a tragic death.
Inspector Gurvinder Singh, sharing details of the case, mentioned that Pinki was expecting twins, who met with a grave fate alongside their mother. Following the gruesome act, the offender Sukhdev has since fled, with police actively searching for him.
