Horrific Incident in Karnataka: Kidnapped, Drugged, and Raped by an Instagram Friend

A shocking incident has come to light in Udupi, Karnataka. A girl was kidnapped and raped. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police team rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. The police have registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.

According to reports, the incident took place in Karkala, Udupi. The victim had met a young man named Altaf on Instagram. Altaf called the girl to meet him and then took her in a car and raped her.

After committing the crime, Altaf was on the way to drop the girl off. At that time, local Hindu activists stopped the car in which the girl was found in a drugged state.

Angry activists informed the police officers about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and took stock of the situation. The police have admitted the girl to a government hospital for treatment. When the girl was admitted to the hospital, there was suspicion that it could be a case of rape. Following the activists' protest, the police have filed a rape case based on the statement from the victim's parents. Allegedly, Altaf, with the help of two friends, drugged the girl and then raped her. The accused was attempting to drop the girl near her house. The investigation will proceed based on the victim's testimony.

The family alleges that three individuals raped the victim. The police are investigating this claim. Meanwhile, police sources indicate that Altaf committed the rape and two others helped bring beer bottles and drugs, but they did not participate in the rape. The police will confirm details after further investigation and recording the victim's statements.
