Starting the Honor X9b review with the display, the company has made bold claims about its durability. This device allegedly comes with the first 5-star drop-resistance certification, awarded by the SGS company in Switzerland. It's marketed as having an Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop Display. During our review, we did not conduct a drop test, but we noticed no scratches on the device within 15 days.

A testament to quality, the Honor X9b stands triumphantly in the Indian smartphone arena, launched by Htech.

The device boasts a 6.7-inch screen with a 2652×1200 resolution. The curved display adds a premium feel reminiscent of the Galaxy S7 Edge launched in February 2016 in India. While it may not be a fresh design, it's notable Samsung heavily promoted its curved design.

Upon first look, the Honor X9b impresses with a 120Hz AMOLED display that enhances the viewing experience and feels upscale. A centered punch hole in the display becomes nearly invisible when the screen is off.

Moving to the phone's processor, the Honor X9b uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. While the Realme 12 Pro Plus in the same price segment uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, the Honor X9b still manages to offer reliable performance. Its 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage are complemented by UFS 3.1 for an extra performance boost.

Overall, the Honor X9b provides satisfactory performance, although an update to its processor could have made it even better. We experienced no slowing down or lagging during our testing. In terms of performance, the phone is quite adequate.

The sound quality of the Honor Choice Earbuds X5 is commendable with clarity across volume levels. The Active Noise Cancellation can suppress up to 30dB of surrounding noise, enhancing the audio experience even in noisy environments. One downside is that the sound can be audible to others around you in quieter settings.

Connectivity is a strong suit for the Earbuds X5, featuring Dual-mode Bluetooth 5.3 chips and seamless pairing via the AI Space App. After an initial connection, the earbuds reconnect quickly once opened.

When fully charged, I tested the Earbuds X5 with movies, music, and calls. The battery lasted over 24 hours, lining up with the company's claim of a 35-hour battery life. The earbuds also come with a Type C USB cable.
