Since Diwali, pollution levels in Delhi-NCR have risen significantly, affecting indoor air quality as well. In such a scenario, an air purifier proves to be a great choice. The market offers a wide range of air purifiers, and among them is QNET's HomePure Zayn, which we've been testing for a while.
According to the company, HomePure Zayn is a high-end air purifier, which its price certainly supports. But the question remains: does it justify its price tag? Let’s explore its features, performance, and drawbacks.
In terms of aesthetics, the QNET HomePure Zayn scores full marks. It resembles more of a showpiece than an air purifier. The oval-shaped device features touch controls, comes with a stand, and is incredibly easy to install. Its compact size allows it to be used virtually anywhere with ease.
The device features a 5-layer purification system. It includes a Pre-Filter that helps remove dust, hair, and larger particles. It’s followed by HPP+ Electrostatic, ultraviolet light, and ultra-plasma ion filter technology.

The company claims that this advanced filter technology can block up to 99.9% of small particles. The ionizer inactivates bacteria present in the air, while UV light elevates purification to another level. Overall, it significantly improves indoor air quality.
This combination results in an all-in-one air purifier that not only tackles dust but also claims to eliminate airborne viruses. Ideal for areas such as a hall, this device covers an area of 350 square feet.

This air purifier operates with minimal noise. However, it does make a noticeable sound initially, which soon diminishes. It features a touch panel through which you can control fan speed, set timers, and toggle UV/Ionizer functions.
Unfortunately, it lacks a display to show AQI and relies solely on lighting indicators. Green light indicates clean air, while red suggests pollution.
The QNET HomePure Zayn is a commendable product, effectively performing its basic functions, though it faces challenges—primarily its price and service network. Priced at 69,950 INR on the company website, it isn’t available on platforms like Amazon or Flipkart, limiting accessibility for many.

The need for annual replacement of its expensive filters also implies higher maintenance costs. At this price point, other brands like Dyson offer more value with features such as app connectivity and AQI displays. Thus, it may not appeal to those seeking affordable options.
