Hindu organizations are preparing to protest in Maharashtra, demanding the removal of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar's tomb. They have issued a stern warning to the Fadnavis government that, if not removed, 'Kar Sevaks' may take matters into their hands similar to the Ayodhya incident. The VHP and Bajrang Dal are scheduled to commence a campaign today, with their workers protesting outside tehsildar and district magistrate offices across Maharashtra.

Nitin Mahajan, a Bajrang Dal leader from Sambhaji Nagar, stated that Aurangzeb was responsible for the death of millions and the demolition of numerous temples. He emphasized that glorifying such a brutal ruler cannot be tolerated, and thus, the tomb should be erased. They have warned of potential actions similar to those taken during the Babri mosque incident if the tomb remains.
