Bollywood socialite and influencer Ouri Orhan Avatramani finds himself in a tricky situation. A case has been lodged against Ouri and seven others for allegedly consuming alcohol in a hotel located at the base camp of Vaishno Devi in Katra. According to the law, the sale, possession, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited in Katra. The police shared this information on Monday.

So far, Ouri has not commented on the matter. On March 15, a video of Ouri partying in a private hotel with friends went viral on social media. The video also showed bottles of alcohol, leading to social media trolling.

What Did The Police Say?
The Jammu and Kashmir police stated that FIRs had been filed against all eight individuals for allegedly 'violating national laws'. A team has been set up to arrest them for 'offending public sentiments.' The Katra police received a complaint on March 15 that some hotel guests were found drinking in violation of local regulations, leading to the FIR against these individuals.
A police official, referencing the complaint, stated, "Orhan Avatramani, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina consumed alcohol within the hotel premises despite being informed earlier that, due to proximity to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple, alcohol consumption and non-vegetarian food were not allowed."
He added, "Given the seriousness of the matter, Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police, Parveen Singh, has ordered the arrest of the violators. This ensures people understand that any activity offending sentiments at religious sites will not be tolerated."
